I suppose the idea of a chastity belt cannot be denied in this piece, although the use of the handmade nails are very evocative of African art.
About
I work as an artist and foster parent. I have lived in the beautiful English countryside for most of my life and it is while walking in the landscape, observing my surroundings in peace, that I gain most of my inspiration.
My education is within the field of fine art. I hold a BA (Hon’s) 1st class and a Masters degree in sculpture. I returned to the schools that I studied in to teach.
I am a solitary maker.
